0.1.0
The first development preview, for Windows, macOS and Linux.
- Dashcat identity. The original Forward cat appears in the website, Dashboard, browser tabs, desktop app, tray and installers. App icons pair Amber and Roast, and shared links show the Dashcat logo and dashcat.ai address.
- Pairing. Pair a node once with a one-time code. Connections use mutual TLS 1.3 with keys pinned at pairing.
- Commands and programs. Run commands and wait for them, or start long-running programs such as dev servers and watchers, read their output as it arrives and stop them with everything they started.
- Files and logs. Read and write files, follow a log as it grows, and push builds to a node
with
jump push. - Screen and UI. Take screenshots, read a window’s controls through the OS accessibility interface, and click, type and press keys. Wayland desktops support the control tree but not screenshots or raw input yet.
- Tray and start at login. The agent shows its state in the tray and can start at login on all three OSes.
